What is Webaroo?
Webaroo is a free software service that gives users the power to search and browse the web ~ anywhere, anytime, without a connection. It is a new kind of index/search tool that brings substantial and previously unavailable exposure to websites. Webaroo's advanced technology enables users to search web content offline on their laptop, PDA or smart phones.
Webaroo servers crawl the web, analyze web pages and automatically select the subset of pages with the greatest diversity and quality in the least storage size. These pages are then packaged into topic-specific "web packs" that can be downloaded by users onto their devices. Once downloaded, users can search and browse that content offline.
The Webaroo crawler (user-agent: WebarooBot) periodically crawls the web. It does not access any website more than once every few seconds. It does not make more than one connection per IP address.

With Webaroo you can:-
•Store your web content (web packs and web sites) on your laptop or mobile device.
•Search or browse the content on your laptop or mobile device like you would search online.
•Update your laptop content and sync your mobile device to access the latest web content on the go.
Webaroo uses automated technology to select the subset of pages that maximize Content Density i.e. the most content value in the least storage size. Webaroo determines the content value based on the diversity and quality of the pages. The more diverse the set of pages, the more queries it is likely to be able to answer. The higher the quality of pages, the more likely they are to contain meaningful information for the user.

Technology:-
Webaroo Technology:-
Webaroo has assembled a world-class team of computer scientists and engineers to develop the best possible offline web technology. There are two critical components at the core of Webaroo technology. One is a system designed to maximize Content Density (tm). The other is our Smart Caching (tm) technology.
Content Density:-
Webaroo servers crawl the web, analyze the web pages and select the subset of pages that maximize Content Density i.e. the most content value in the least storage size. Webaroo determines the content value based on the diversity and quality of the pages. The more diverse the set of pages, the more queries it is likely to be able to answer. The more high quality the pages, the more likely they are to contain meaningful information for the user.
Take an analogy from the print world. If there was only one book you had to take on a road-trip, that could answer almost any query you may have, it would most likely be the encyclopedia. In other words, the encyclopedia has high content density.
The content density software can be run on the whole web, or on parts of the web (say, the sports web). The selected subset of pages is packaged into a “web pack”. A web pack is, quite simply, a collection of web pages, along with other meta-data that enables caching, search, updates and more.
Smart Caching:-
Webaroo users have client software installed on their laptops or mobile devices. The Webaroo client is smart about caching and updating the content on its local storage. Users can download selected web packs from Webaroo servers. Users can also download favorite web sites. Users can search this content anytime, anywhere, without a web connection.
When the user connects the mobile device to the Internet, the client checks with the server to see if there are any available updates. Different web packs may update at different frequencies depending on the nature of content (e.g. news changes more frequently than, say, restaurant reviews). These updates may be incremental i.e. broken into smaller chunks and downloaded over a period of time. The updates are also interruptible i.e. if the user disconnects in a hurry and later re-connects, the update will continue from where it left off.

How it Works:-
1. Webaroo servers scour the web, analyze web pages, and automatically select the subset of pages with the most content value in the least storage size. These pages are then assembled into topic-specific “web packs”.
2. You can download these web packs onto your laptop or mobile device. Additionally, you can also download pages from your favorite web sites.
3. Once you download web packs or web sites onto your mobile device, you can search them anytime, anywhere, without a connection.
4. When you re-connect, your laptop may receive fresh content updates from the server.
5. By extracting and caching the best subset of the web, Webaroo makes the web portable. It puts the best of the web content in your pocket and gives you the freedom to use the web offline.

( YOU CAN ALSO STORE IT IN PENDRIVE & SEE YOUR FAVOURITE WEB SITES ANYWARE.THEN JUST DOWNLOAD IT & TRY)
